In this show, we follow the adventures of 3 boys who go on an adventure. They go through ordeals, invent fights, are clumsy and reckless, like these “robbery” mercenaries of the Ottoman Empire, the Bachibouzouk. Through strong images and dance, we talk about the common utopias that keep friendship alive.

Again, Philippe Saire is at the conjunction of theatre of objects and dance which is always based on very concrete situations, where words are rare and the images astonishing. After the magical device of Hocus Pocus (Krokusfestival 2018), he continues to explore this link between bodies and a setting, here in constant transformation. Tarpaulins of all kinds are used, playing with the air, manipulated, taking on a multitude of evocative forms, in a sort of imaginative craftsmanship, offering the characters the situations in which they will evolve.
